Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SkillTweak.com ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information from users of the SkillTweak.com website (the "Website") and the services provided by SkillTweak.com (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Website or the Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We may collect personal information from you when you interact with the Website or use our Services. The types of information we may collect include:
1.1. Personal Information: This may include your name, email address, phone number, and any other information you provide when creating an account or contacting us.
1.2. Payment Information: If you make a payment for our Services, we may collect payment card details or other financial information necessary to process the payment.
1.3. Usage Information: We may collect information about your interactions with the Website, such as the pages you visit, the features you use, and the actions you take. This information may be collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.
Use of Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
2.1. Providing and Improving our Services: We use the information to deliver the Services you request, personalize your experience, and improve the functionality and performance of the Website.
2.2. Communication: We may use your information to communicate with you, respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and send you administrative and promotional messages.
2.3. Analytics and Research: We may use the information to analyze trends, monitor the usage of the Website, and conduct research to improve our Services and develop new features.
2.4. Legal Compliance: We may use your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with third parties in the following circumstances:
3.1. Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in providing and improving our Services. These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and only use it for the purposes specified by us.
3.2. Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., law enforcement agencies).
3.3. Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
3.4. Consent: We may share your information with third parties when we have obtained your consent to do so.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods for our Services are:
6.1. Submitted Videos: Videos you upload for review are retained for 12 months after the associated feedback is delivered, and are then deleted. Videos you share by link remain on the third-party platform you chose (e.g., YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox) under that platform's terms, and you control them there; we retain only the link.
6.2. Coaching Feedback and Scores: Written feedback and scores remain available in your account for as long as your account is active, so you can refer back to them.
6.3. Account and Consent Records: Account information and parental-consent records are retained for the life of the account, and consent records may be retained after account deletion where required to demonstrate compliance with legal obligations.
6.4. Deletion Requests: You (or, for athletes under 18, a parent or legal guardian) may request deletion of your account, submitted videos, or other personal information at any time by emailing privacy@skilltweak.com. We will act on verified requests within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Cookies and Do Not Track
The Website uses only essential cookies: cookies that keep you signed in and maintain the security of your session. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not permit third parties to place tracking cookies through the Website. Because these essential cookies are required for the Services to function, they cannot be disabled while using your account; you can remove them at any time through your browser settings.
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because we do not track our users across third-party websites or serve interest-based advertising, we do not alter our behavior in response to DNT signals — there is no cross-site tracking to disable.
California Privacy Rights
SkillTweak is a California business. We collect only the categories of personal information described in Section 1 (identifiers such as name and email, payment information processed by our payment provider, athlete information you choose to provide, and the videos and related materials you submit for review). We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the Services.
California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting privacy@skilltweak.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
Children's Privacy
SkillTweak serves young athletes, and we take children's privacy seriously. Athletes 13 years of age and older may create an account only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, which we collect and record at registration. Children under 13 may not create an account; a parent or legal guardian may create and manage an account on their behalf, and any information about an athlete under 13 is provided by and controlled by that parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account without parental consent, contact us at privacy@skilltweak.com and we will promptly delete it.
Your Rights
You have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of your information. You may also have the right to object to the processing of your information or to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided below.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Website or by sending you an email or other notification. Your continued use of the Website or the Services after the effective date of the updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
